About Belly Molds

Click here for Frequently Asked Questions

A Belly Mold is a mold made from the belly or torso of a pregnant woman. Because the materials are non-toxic and the process is very rapid, molding a pregnant woman's body is very safe.

Although a Lifecasting sculpture can be made from the Belly Mold, many women choose to have the mold itself as the final product. The Belly Mold can be finished in the studio by the artist in almost any finish the mother requests.

Most often, the parents choose to take the unfinished Belly Mold and paint it or decorate it themselves. This can become a part of the excitement of preparing for their new addition.
