When is the best time to have my Belly Mold made?
We suggest that the Belly Mold be made somewhere between the 30th and the 36th week of pregnancy. During this time the mother is usually showing sufficiently for us to make an attractive mold and she should still be able to pose comfortably.

Of what material is the Belly Mold made?
We use medical grade plaster guaze. This is the same material used by doctors to set broken bones.

Is it safe for the mother and baby?
Research indicates that the process is completely safe for both mother and baby. All of the materials are non-toxic. However, we suggest that the mother consult her doctor prior to having the Belly Mold made.

How long does it take to make the Belly Mold?
The molding process takes about 45 minutes. After completion of the mold, the completed Belly Mold will be ready in about 14 days.

Will there be any discomfort?
None of our mothers has complained. In fact, most mothers find the experience to be exciting and fun.

Do I have to be nude or partially nude to have the Belly Mold made?
The outline of a garment will show up in the finished mold and will hide the true shape of your body. Because of this we recommend that the mother not wear any clothing above the panty line when posing. We make every effort to provide a secure, safe and comfortable environment. If modesty is an issue, please advise us in advance.

Can I have my spouse, significant other or a friend accompany me? Can they take photographs?
Making a Belly Mold is fun and exciting. We encourage you to bring your "other half" or a friend and also encourage you to have photos taken of the molding process.

What finish can I choose for my Belly Mold?
The Belly Mold can have almost any finish you can imagine. It can be left white, like the sample above, or it can be finished in any color you select. You can also choose to decorate it yourself. Some mothers even have it decorated by their friends at a baby shower.

How do I display my Belly Mold?
Your finished Belly Mold is not only a family treasure, it is a piece of art. It can be hung on the wall, displayed in a wall unit, or on a special stand in any room of your home. We can even arrange to have an acrylic display case made.

How much will my Belly Mold cost?
Prices vary depending upon the size of the mold, the complexity of the pose and the finish. Most Belly Molds will cost between $200 and $300.
